The City of Miami Gardens is located midway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami in the north central portion of Miami-Dade County. Approximately 113,000 Residents live within the City’s twenty square mile area which stretches from I-95 and NE 2nd Avenue on the east, to NW 47th Avenue and NW 57th Avenues on the west, County Line Road on the north and NW 151st Street in the south. The City was incorporated on May 13, 2003 as the 33rd municipality and the third largest in Miami –Dade County.
Our City is conveniently accessible by all the major expressways within the county (I-95, SR 826/ Palmetto Expressway and Turnpike). It is also transected by major arteries such as NW 27th Avenue, State Road 441 and Miami Gardens Drive which form the backbone of the major business corridors and development in the City.
